In a land so far away
They trick the tourist to come and stay
Enjoy the land and the view
It will be your last if you only knew

A land of savages in disguise
For in the jungles where it lies
A pillar made of the hardest stone
And the floor a mess with broken bones

A sacrifice is what they need
Then carve the skin and watch it bleed
A tribe that thrives on blood
To please their gods above

For destruction of the land
Prepare to die at their hand

Savages gathered around and wait
For the hand of judgement has sealed your fate
Strapped to the obsidian pillar of pain
Edges so sharp that it slices your vains
Screaming in agony the ritual begins
Losing your blood as your head starts to spin
The altar below glistening red
Soon you too will become one with the dead

The ceremony starts, the end is near
Surrounded by chants you tremble in fear
The floor begins to break apart
Revealing the lava that was there from the start
The other tourist falling below
Your strap now snapping it's your time to go
Tricked to your death for a price to pay
One that your ancestors never repaid

The ritual over, the blood will dry
Waiting on new victims that will die
As the pillar grows to start anew
Becoming one with the bodies that they slew

Those that come will never leave
The savages want death and do not grieve
Their gods above demand more
To satisfy their lust for bloody gore

Outsiders came and brought their disease
